Introduction

The Department was started in 1971 in its unique distinguished manner. In the recent years, Department continued its contribution to new trends in Education. Some of the noticeable works in recent years are online examination forms, use of various software's for filling up exam forms at F.Y. level as well as for result at F.Y. level. The Coordinator of Exam Department is Dr. J.Y.Ingale. Now days exam. Dept. is fully computerized Organizational Structure.

Functions of Exam Department

The Examination Department is mainly deal with the appointment of paper setters, Examiners, Moderators, senior supervisors, preparation and publication of schedule of examinations, conduct of examinations, to get performance of the candidates at the examinations properly assessed and timely declaration of results. For, the purpose of simplification, smooth and easier is functioning the work of Examination.
The Exam Department always ask to pay special attention to the procedures for postponement and preponement of scheduled final examinations and for extensions beyond University deadlines for the submission of end-of-term work other than scheduled examinations. We use this common set of procedures instead of individual arrangements between students and instructors in the interest of ensuring fair and evenhanded treatment for all of our students. Students will be expected to abide by these procedures, and we ask members of the faculty and assistants-in-instruction to do so as well. This information is compiled by Chairman, coordinator and Principal.
The following work is regularly done through the Exam Department :

  1. Administration of Examinations

  2. 1.1 Oversight of examination scheduling :

Assignments of the time and place of final examinations or any changes in them.


    1.2 Scheduled time for examinations :

Examinations should begin and end during the three-hour / two hour scheduled time period.


    1.3 Seating arrangements and leaving the room :

Students should be seated alternately in the assigned room. Students may leave the Examination room to take a short break, but they may not take their examination paper with them.


    1.4 Forbidden items :

Laptop computers and handheld electronic communications devices (e.g., cell phones, iPods, Black Berry, iphones, etc.) are forbidden in final examination rooms. Students may not wear headphones attached to tape recorders or radios during examinations.

    1.5 Late arrivals :

A student who arrivers late at an examination but within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time will be given the examination and permitted to complete as much work as Possible during the remaining time.


    1.6 Special accommodations :

The Office of Disability Services will notify faculty in advance of any student who qualifies forspecial accommodations, such as extended time on examinations. Any requests for special accommodations brought to the faculty member must be referred to the Office of Disability Services.
2) Postponement of Examinations
Individual faculty members may not authorize postponements or preponement of final examinations as well as rescheduling an examination.
